I have been off the grid for a bit, but it has been good. I have officially gotten myself all on the same page. I am out of my funk and ready for what life has to bring..which has been busy! Let me first tell you some exciting news! Children and Youth came for another visit this past wednesday. I was rolling my eyes about the whole thing because, well, I don’t see why she needs to be coming to check up on us anyway. Really, I do get it, they have to look into every call they get and yadda yadda but if anyone KNOWS knows me, they would know I have zero need for these people in my life. So we sit down and she says “Is there anything I can help you with?” so I kinda laughed, and I said I am sure I could find something.. it would be nice to have a maid, a babysitter (for some me time or so maybe I could possibly date), someone to do my grocery shopping, a personal driver.. the list could seriously go on and on. But I told her really I had everything under control, no matter how crazy it gets, I still got this. So she told me that I should expect a letter in the mail because she is going to ask her supervisor to close the case. Praise the lord!
Kayleigh has been a busy bee since the beginning of school, learning the violin. She does not practice as much as she should, but she can’t seem to keep a focus on too much for too long anyhow (she suffers from ADHD) but for someone who doesn’t really practice, she is doing amazing 🙂 She had her holiday concert Friday night because Tuesday’s was postponed from snow.
She is wearing the lime green top all the way to the left. She was extra excited about this because Grandma, Daddy and Aunt Kimmy drove all the way from NJ just to see her play for 3 minutes! It was an extra special evening!
I love them. A little more every day!
Now about that snow. Tuesday I had off from work and we had a snow day, so me and the girls were home together and we had such a great time! It was snowman building snow!
Which also means….
Snowball fighting snow too!!
Life has been crazy but amazing. I am blessed. Now a little update on Lylah. It is always something with this one. We were supposed to get evaluated on Tuesday, but snow prevented that, so now we have to reschedule! We also went to the Dr last week for another ear infection! Loooks as though the tube finally fell out (she had tubes put it 3 years ago) so because of constant ear infections, we have to go back to the Children’s Hospital to see her ENT and see what our next plan of action is. More than likely she will need a tube in that ear, but I really have no idea what they are gonna do. I just want them to fix my baby.. I am worried with all these horrible ear infections it is going to hurt her hearing.
It’s almost Christmas and I am sooooooooo ready.. so I shall leave you with this..
